Clubs
Ada Merritt K-8 Center students in grades four through eight have the opportunity to participate in a variety of school clubs and organizations. In order to participate, students need to maintain satisfactory academic, effort, and conduct grades, and have satisfactory attendance and punctuality. Failure to maintain the established criteria of each club will result in probation and may result in loss of membership status.

The Student Council is a way for students to share ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and the school administration. Election information forthcoming.

Florida Future Educators of America

This service organization is designed to encourage students in grades 4-8 to develop positive attitudes towards teaching and learning. FFEA sponsor will coordinate the Teacher Assist Mentoring program. K-8

Art Club

Students will expand and enrich their exposure to art beyond the classroom. 4-8

Students explore mathematics skills while preparing to participate in District mathematics competitions. 4-8

National Junior Honor Society

This club is a service oriented club for students in grades 7-8 who are eligible for membership. By invitation only.

Science Club

Students in grades 4-8 will engage in fun challenging science activities and in competitions district-wide.

School safety monitors patrol the school daily to insure safety of all 4-8 students.

Environment

Students will collect, sort, and recycle materials. In addition, students will research, plan and implement a strategy to aid a local organization through the Lead2Feed Challenge.
